Michter’s US*1 Sour Mash Whiskey revives the historic sour mash process that made Michter’s famous. This method, which uses previously fermented mash to start new batches, ensures depth, consistency, and complexity in every bottle. Produced at Michters Distillery in Louisville, Kentucky, it matures in charred new American oak barrels, developing a rich, balanced profile. Though not classified as bourbon or rye, it delivers a smooth, distinctive character that stands out.
