Pure Malt

Pure malt whisky is a Japanese term for whisky made entirely from malted barley, typically a blend of single malts from multiple distilleries — sometimes even multiple countries. Nikka and Suntory have both used the category to produce some of their most celebrated expressions. Japanese pure malt whiskies are increasingly sought after internationally and often represent strong value relative to single malt equivalents.
