Released to celebrate Laphroaig’s 200th anniversary, the Laphroaig 32 Year Old Cask Strength is an exceptionally rare and prestigious expression, with only 5,880 bottles produced worldwide. Matured exclusively in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks filled between 1980 and 1983, it displays a deeply rich, sherried profile rarely seen in Laphroaig. Although labelled as 32 years old, approximately 80% of the whisky is actually aged 34–35 years, offering remarkable depth and maturity. Bottled at natural cask strength (46.6% ABV), this release balances Laphroaig’s signature peat smoke with powerful layers of dark chocolate, sherry sweetness, and spiced oak making it one of the most significant anniversary bottlings in the distillery’s history.
