Heartwood The Beagle 8 is one of Tim Duckett’s most complex and ambitious creations, blended from six Tasmanian whiskies of varying ages and drawn from 20 different casks across five distilleries. Most components range from 7 to 9 years old, with younger 2–5 year malts included to intensify depth, structure, and peat character.

The cask composition is remarkably diverse  including ex-sherry, muscat, port, peated malt, bourbon, and tokay barrels  resulting in a whisky of immense complexity, bold flavour layering, and exceptional balance. Bottled at a cask strength 57.4% ABV and limited to just 168 bottles, The Beagle 8 epitomises Heartwood’s signature style: powerful, unapologetic, and meticulously crafted from some of Tasmania’s finest spirit.
