This expression combines classic ex-bourbon matured Ardbeg with whisky finished in sweet Sauternes wine casks, resulting in an extraordinary fusion of tropical sweetness, spice and signature Islay smoke. Bottled at 46% alc/vol and non-chill filtered, it offers a distinctly innovative take on Ardbeg’s heritage.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Herbal and oily with extra virgin olive oil, briar wood, coriander and sage, evolving into smoked lemon peel, crème brûlée and soft waxy notes.
Palate: Smooth, oily layers of oak moss, treacle and aniseed lozenges balanced by smoked apricots, balsamic hints and eucalyptus.
Finish: Long, sweet and smoky with lingering cumin, cardamom and a subtle touch of coconut.
