The Macallan Edition No. 5 is the fifth release in the acclaimed Edition Series, created in collaboration with the Pantone Colour Institute™ to celebrate The Macallan’s dedication to natural colour. Bottled at 48.5% ABV, this expression was matured in a complex combination of American and European oak casks, including 1st fill bourbon barrels, 2nd fill hogsheads and butts, 1st fill Tevasa hogsheads and butts, 1st fill Vasyma butts, and 1st fill Hudosa hogsheads and butts. Its vivid purple packaging was designed to highlight both the creativity and precision behind The Macallan’s whisky-making process.
