The Gordon & MacPhail Private Collection St. Magdalene 1982 39 Year Old is an exceptionally rare Lowland single malt from a closed and historic distillery. Distilled in 1982 and matured for 39 years in a refill American hogshead (Cask No. 2094), it was bottled in 2021 at natural cask strength of 54.8% alc/vol. Non-chill filtered and natural in colour, this release was limited to just 165 bottles worldwide.

St. Magdalene Distillery, also known as Linlithgow, operated until the early 1980s and has since been demolished, making its whiskies highly sought after. This Private Collection bottling captures the delicate Lowland character that defined the distillery, elevated by nearly four decades of careful maturation.
