Ardbeg Galileo is a celebrated limited release inspired by the distillery’s space-themed maturation experiment conducted in 2011. Bottled at 49% alc/vol, this whisky was distilled in 1999 and matured for 12–13 years in first-fill bourbon barrels before being finished in ex-Marsala wine casks. The result is a beautifully balanced expression that combines Ardbeg’s signature peated character with sweet, fruity depth.
