Nose: Rich buttery brown bread toast and dark honey, layered with ginger conserve, fruitcake, roasted hazelnuts, sherry-soaked orange slices, praline, coffee, walnut and sticky dates.
Palate: A full mouthful of classic Macallan sherry oak, with rich fruitcake, roasted nuts, dark chocolate, mocha, praline, fragrant honey, buttery oak, ripe figs and mincemeat.
Finish: Long and luxurious, with brandy butter on Christmas pudding, fig jam, waxy orange, ginger and creamy, buttery sherry oak.
