The Bunnahabhain 2008 The Coterie Exclusive Manzanilla Cask Matured is a highly technical, small-batch Islay single malt curated strictly for the distillery's dedicated global inner circle, the Coterie. Distilled on the rugged northeastern coast of Islay in 2008, this rare expression represents a premium chapter of single-cask architecture. Shifting away from standard secondary finishing narratives, this liquid spent its full-term maturation residency inside premium, hand-selected ex-Manzanilla sherry casks. Filled into wood on October 14, 2008, and bottled on May 23, 2022, the spirit was drawn at a natural strength of 49.6% ABV with zero chill-filtration and no artificial coloring, resulting in an incredibly scarce and highly sought-after outturn.
