Archie Rose Chocolate Rye Malt Whisky is one of Australia’s most unique and experimental whisky releases. Bottled at 52% alc/vol, this 2019 expression was created from a single batch of eight casks and forms the fourth release under the highly limited Archie Rose Concepts label. The whisky represents the distillery’s early exploration into heavily roasted malts—lower yielding but incredibly rich and flavourful.

This release captures the intensity and character of chocolate rye malt, showcasing Archie Rose’s innovative approach to grain, cask selection and flavour development. Only 1,148 bottles were ever produced, with this specific bottle numbered 481, making it a rare collector’s item from one of Australia’s most awarded distilleries.
