Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix is a rare limited-edition single malt created after a historic event in January 2010, when unprecedented snowfall caused several warehouse roofs to collapse at the distillery. In response, Glenfiddich’s Malt Master selected and married ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks aged between 13 and 30 years to craft a whisky that honours resilience, innovation, and the pioneering heritage of William Grant, who built the distillery with his family in 1886. Bottled at 47.6% ABV, this expression captures a rich and complex character with aromas of creamy vanilla, crisp apple, pear, and soft floral notes, followed by a bold palate of roasted apples, heather honey, dark chocolate, burnt sugar, espresso, and gentle wood smoke.
