Founded in 2023, Whisky Estate is an Australian whisky specialist based in Sydney, created to serve collectors, drinkers, and sellers who want a more considered way to buy and sell whisky. One built on trust, transparency, and real market knowledge.

Why We Started

Like many collectors, our journey began with whisky auctions. They were exciting and fast paced, but over time it became clear that auctions were not always the best outcome for either side. Sellers faced uncertainty and fees, while buyers often missed bottles due to timing, distractions, or limited access.

So we listened.

We moved away from traditional auctions and built a whisky consignment model that works better for everyone involved. Sellers gain greater price control, while buyers enjoy continuous access to exceptional bottles without the pressure of a ticking clock.

We work directly with private collectors and estates to sell bottles on their behalf, supported by an extensive and highly engaged email database, strong relationships within the Australia, and a growing international whisky collecting community. Alongside consignment, Whisky Estate operates a curated online whisky shop, offering a rotating selection of everyday favourites, limited releases, and collectible bottles. Each whisky is chosen with intent, whether it is meant to be opened and enjoyed or added to a long term collection.
