Amber Lane Distillery was founded in 2017 in the Yarramalong Valley on the Central Coast of New South Wales. It began as a passion project between two friends, Rod Berry and Phil Townsend. Both shared a love of whisky and astronomy.

The distillery follows a traditional approach. It uses a 3,600-litre copper pot still, inspired by Springbank in Scotland. This still creates a spirit with depth and texture.
