Laphroaig Distillery
Founded in 1815 on the southern coast of Islay, Laphroaig Distillery is renowned for its bold and medicinal peated whiskies. Its signature character comes from malted barley dried over a peat fire, imparting a flavour often described as iodine-rich, smoky, and sea-soaked. Laphroaig has a devoted following and is one of the few distilleries to carry a Royal Warrant.
