Savoury-sweet black dates and candied plums enrich the peat.

Why Choose Kavalan Peatist Oloroso Sherry Cask?

The sherry cask changes the Peatist profile from vanilla and banana towards plums, dates and dried fruit, while the smoke remains. It is a useful pairing to hold alongside the ex-Bourbon release. Each bottling is a single cask, so strength varies slightly. Kavalan recommends drinking it neat.

What Makes Kavalan Distillery Unique?

Kavalan Distillery is in Yilan, in north-eastern Taiwan. Its whiskies mature in a humid climate, which shapes how the spirit and the cask interact and contributes to the range's tropical fruit character. The distillery has also developed its own S.T.R. technique (shave, toast, rechar) to refresh wine casks, and its single malts have earned consistent recognition at international competitions.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0974/0232/3232/files/kavalan-peatist-oloroso-sherry-cask.jpg?v=1792488034
https://whisky.estate/products/kavalan-peatist-oloroso-sherry-cask-single-cask-strength-single-malt-taiwanese-whisky
