Lark Christmas Cask Release II
This festive single malt whisky was matured in fruit jus-seasoned red wine casks, previously used to make Tasmanian fruit mince pies. The casks were then filled with spirit from the Old Hobart Distillery, specially selected for its seasonal richness. The result is a merry release from Lark, brimming with aromas of spiced fruit, citrus, and pastry notes.
About the Distillery

Lark Christmas Cask Release II Tasting Notes
Nose: Dark fruits of plums, figs and dates, rum-soaked raisins, stewed blood oranges, apple strudel, sweet pastry, and Christmas spices of nutmeg, clove and cinnamon.
Palate: Orange citrus, stewed apples, hints of earthy peat smoke, spices of cinnamon, clove, nutmeg and allspice.
Finish: Orchard fruits, dark fruits and Christmas spice linger warmly.
