It was bottled by James Munro & Sons, a historic Scotch whisky blender based in Edinburgh, Scotland. The company owned Dalwhinnie Distillery in the early 20th century.

The whisky is believed to have been bottled in the 1960s, and the blend includes malt whisky from Cragganmore Distillery, a Speyside single malt known for its balance and subtle peat character.
