GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Spanish Oak
Part of the Virgin Oak Series, the GlenAllachie 10 Year Old Spanish Oak begins its maturation in American oak ex-bourbon barrels before being transferred for a further 18 months into specially selected virgin Spanish oak hogsheads. Sourced from Galicia and Asturias in northern Spain, these casks bring unique richness, spice, and depth to the whisky. The wood is air dried for 18 months before being coopered, toasted, and charred, allowing the GlenAllachie spirit to absorb the full influence of the oak. Bottled at 48% ABV, non-chill filtered and with natural colour, this release showcases GlenAllachie’s innovative approach to wood management.
