Bunnahabhain Distillery
Founded in 1881 on the north-eastern tip of Islay, Bunnahabhain is renowned for producing some of the island’s most distinctive single malts. Unlike many Islay distilleries, Bunnahabhain focuses on an unpeated house style, known for its approachable fruit, nut, and coastal character. Over time, the distillery has also become recognised for its successful use of sherry and wine cask maturation, as well as its popular annual festival releases for Fèis Ìle.
