Archie Rose Ironbark Smoked Rye Malt Whisky
Archie Rose Ironbark Smoked Rye Malt Whisky is the second limited edition whisky in the Concepts Series, drawn from just seven casks and bottled at an atypically low 40% ABV. What sets this whisky apart is its use of smoked water—created by melting ice over a wood-fired ironbark oven at the Three Blue Ducks restaurant in NSW. Bottled flocked and unfiltered, this experimental release embraces its natural haze and char remnants to highlight how filtration impacts flavour. Only 1,197 bottles were released in September 2019, making it an exceptionally rare and unconventional Australian whisky.
