Amber Lane Noble Lane delivers a rich and complex whisky experience with its unique combination of Bourbon and Dessert wine cask influences. Its small-batch production and non-chill filtration ensure a premium dram that highlights the craftsmanship of Amber Lane Distillery. Perfect for whisky enthusiasts who appreciate a layered, smooth, and satisfying dram, Noble Lane is a standout choice for those seeking an exceptional and award-winning Australian whisky.
Amber Lane Distillery, founded in 2017, is located in the Yarramalong Valley on the Central Coast of New South Wales. It was started by two friends, Rod Berry and Phil Townsend, who shared a love of whisky and astronomy.
Unlike many new distilleries, Amber Lane focuses on traditional methods. They use a 3,600-litre copper pot still inspired by Springbank in Scotland. As a result, their spirit has a classic depth and texture.
Importantly, they mature their whisky in large-format barrels, including ex-Heaven Hill bourbon and sherry casks from Spain. This approach allows for slower, richer ageing.
Moreover, Amber Lane chooses to extend maturation times well beyond the local norm. Combined with small batch releases and careful blending, their whiskies offer balance, elegance, and bold flavour.
In just a few years, Amber Lane has become a rising name in Australian whisky—thanks to a clear vision, quality casks, and a commitment to doing things differently.
