The Dalmore 40 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
This rare Highland single malt was initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks before undergoing a secondary maturation in 30-year-old Gonzalez Byass Matusalem oloroso sherry butts. A final period in first-fill American oak bourbon casks completed the process, resulting in a refined and multi-layered whisky bottled at 42% ABV in 2017.
