Placing your Bid
To place a bid:
- Click on the lot you’re interested in.
- Enter your maximum bid in the box provided.
- Confirm your bid.
How it works:
Your bid will not jump straight to your maximum. Instead, our system will automatically increase your bid in small increments, just enough to keep you ahead of other bidders.
Bidding Increments:
- $0 – $100 → $2
- $100 – $200 → $5
- $200 – $500 → $10
- $500 – $1005 → $15
- $1005 and above → $20
Final 10-Minute Rule:
If someone places a bid in the last 10 minutes of the auction, the timer will extend by an additional 10 minutes. This gives everyone a fair chance to respond.
A 10% buyer’s premium (including GST) applies to the final hammer price of each lot.
Payment
If you win a lot, you’ll be able to check out and pay securely via your account. You’ll also receive an email with a link to our secure payment page.
Payment options:
- Credit or debit card
- Bank transfer (details will be provided)
Note: Payment must be made within 5 business days of the auction ending. If payment isn’t received in time, your card will be charged automatically.
At checkout, you can also choose your preferred delivery method and whether you’d like to add insurance.
Shipping
Once payment is confirmed, we’ll pack and dispatch your whisky with care.
We deliver both within Australia and internationally.
Before placing a bid, please check our Shipping Page to confirm we can deliver to your location. Delivery fees and options are also detailed there.
Important:
Courier companies do not accept liability for items damaged or lost in transit.
We highly recommend choosing insurance for eligible orders. Cosmetic issues such as seal failures or minor damage during shipping are not covered.
